A letter to "Da Beer an Hat" Table Read

Anxious. That's what I felt just before the table read... Today, after a day to reflect, I am encouraged. Your talent has given an added depth to the screenplay. Each and every on of you gave a "truthful" and "authentic" performance.

I can now fine-tune the script and I am determined to make "Da Beer Can Hat" a movie we can be proud of. We can show the world a unique local Hawaii story and we can show Hollywood that yes, we can cast ethnically correct and have excellent actors.

My dream is to build a production company in Hawaii to make many of these movies. With the success of this years "Moonlight" oscar for best picture, I am encouraged.

Like it or not, you are now a part of a bigger family now, a new ohana with Denny and Karen called Hiro Films. LOL I look forward to working with you in this wonderful journey.
